Martin & Wheatley celebrate their 6th anniversary by opening new landmark offices in Weybridge

Having dealt with property for 30 years, Sheila Martin & Jamie Wheatley thought they had seen and experienced all markets but the last 6 years since opening their own letting agency has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. Brexit wasn’t a reality on the horizon when they opened in 2014 and no one could have anticipated the extent of Covid-19. Difficult markets favour the experienced and nimble and these are the attributes which have helped them rise to one of the leading independent letting agencies in Elmbridge and within a relatively short period. Within their first 2 years of setting up business the successful duo were quickly winning industry awards and regularly beating the larger competition. Market knowledge and agility gave them the edge to work that little bit smarter in finding tenants and making deals happen. Their following amongst discerning landlords through recommendation and word of mouth is impressive and this has led to a dominance in and around the private estates and family houses in Weybridge and Walton.

It was therefore a natural step to expand with the opening of new prominent offices on the busy Queens Road in Weybridge. Whilst its possible to run an on-line only estate agency model, there is a reason why the most successful agents are still on the High Street and that is presence. People like to see you and know there is a real person available, they like to drop by and have a (socially distanced!) chat. Or as is more often the case, to say hello to Jack the office dog!

There are lots more exciting plans for the companies growth and expansion within Elmbridge but for now they are concentrating on enjoying their new office space and looking forward to a more settled 2021!
